Dr Bertie Phipps

Bertie graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2014 before working in a busy small animal practice in Lancashire for 4 years, during which time he completed the RCVS certificate in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging.

In 2018 Bertie returned to the University of Liverpool Small Animal Teaching Hospital (SATH) as a rotating intern. Bertie remained at the SATH as an intern in small animal surgery. He started his surgical resident with AURA Veterinary and Fitzpatrick Referrals in January 2020.

Bertie enjoys all aspects of small animal surgery, though is especially interested in canine elbow disease, minimally invasive and interventional radiology procedures and cardiothoracic surgery.
