About Dr Audrey Petite

After graduating from Liege Vet school, Belgium, in 1999 I worked in general practice for 2 years where I developed a particular interest in radiology. I completed an internship in Diagnostic Imaging at Liege Vet School followed by a 3 year EBVS accredited residency program at the Animal Health Trust, Newmarket. I passed my British Diploma in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging in 2004 and my European Diploma in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging at the end of the residency in 2005. I have been an EBVS Specialist in Diagnostic Imaging since 2007. I worked for several years in veterinary referral centres, before providing a freelance mobile specialist ultrasound service. I developed a particular interest in ultrasound guided procedures and diagnostic imaging in oncology patients. In recent years, I have enjoyed collaborating with the department of Interventional Radiology to treat complex vascular and oncology patients.

I contribute regularly to national and international conferences and have authored several book chapters in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging and Oncology text books.
