About Dr Magda Gerou-Ferriani

Magda graduated from the University of Bologna (Italy) in 2002. After a short period in the USA, she completed an internship in Small Animals in the University of Liverpool (UK). She then completed a Fellowship in Small Animal Studies at the AHT (UK) before moving to Glasgow for her residency in Small Animal Medicine. She obtained her Diploma ECVIM-Ca in 2011. She completed her certificate in small animal medicine in 2008. She has worked both in private practice and in academia in Europe and USA. She joined AURA Veterinary in 2020. She likes all aspects of internal medicine but her main interests are autoimmune diseases, coagulation problems, interventional and all endoscopic procedures. She has regularly presented in conferences and published both books and scientific papers. She lives in Surrey with her family, Stanley the lab, Diva the poodle and Ike her cat.
